Events Canada Day Parade | TBMA celebrated Canada day with a multicultural float in the local parade. Volunteers carried Canadian flags as well as the flags of many nations representing newcomers who have come to Canada as immigrants and refugees. Host Youth volunteers handed out pens, candy and flags to all who lined the parade route. We had great participation from the Karen speaking Burmese community in Thunder Bay who dressed in their traditional clothing and marched with a banner of greeting. A fun day was enjoyed by all.
