6-20 players, all age groups, played indoors, outdoors

The object of this game is for players to run through the playing field (figure 1) without being tagged by their opponents. The "X" players on the course must stay in their lanes, except for the captain, who can wander up and down the middle. More than one "O" player may run through the course at one time, but they enter the course one by one, until they are all in. If a player gets past one opponent and fears running into the next, he may yell "Im out" and run outside the boundary. Once gaining control, that player must re-enter and continue down the field. A player getting through the course, and bac again, gets one point for his team. However, even if only one player id tagged by an opponent, his whole team is out, and teams then switch positions. This game may continue indefinatley, or towards a pre-determined score
