Cultural research and preservation group. Works to preserve
Finnish-Canadian history in the region with books, photos, etc...;
organizes photographic/project displays, films, slides, and guest
speakers.
Has a display upstairs at 314 Bay Street that can be seen on
appointment and an archive at Lakehead University library.
Meetings are as needed at Lakehead University library in the
Archives Room. Membership is open to the public.
Recently published a book titled History of Finnish Businesses in the Thunder Bay
Area.
